Esther, 19.5 million votes could and should change the course of the election. Its a shame that you feel that historically Hispanics haven't voted as a block.

By fragmenting their votes it makes meanlingless in a sense. It appears that the political pundints continue to focus on the elusive white female votes and are ignoring the potentional 19.5 Hispanic votes.

Its never talked about nor discussed. I believe that its time for Hispanics, (unfortunely I am not sure of ethnicity) to get involved politically and ensure that their issues are addressed.

I want them quit sitting on the sidelines, make registration a priority and vote. If there are only 19.5 million registered voters, then there are a slew of non registered voters who need to be challenged to participate.

Every vote counts and the reasons, and it is my understanding that many more Hispancis are becoming American citizens. Well these new citizens should be encouraged to vote.

There are Hispanic Mayors, Governors and Congressman, one day an Hispanic will emulate Jimmy Smits on West Wing, and run for president.

However, if more Hispanics aren't registering and participating, then their votes will continue to be ignored as unimportant.
