So, you support Gov. Martinez' attack on Hispanics and their right to obtain a driver's license? If she succeeds, we will potentially have 10's of thousands of NM drivers and possibly millions throughout the United States without auto insurance , thus lacking any identification with which to purchase airline tickets or rent a car or cash a check. I don't know where you are from, but my relatives all over New Mexico and the southwest who have lived there for at least 400 years now face the possibility of being stopped arbitrarily by state officials on suspicion of being "illegal" solely based on their appearance. Why do you continue to support those who would use appearance, ethnicity, potential legal residence status to perpetuate their disdain for Latinos?
I am always disappointed when Hispanics/Latinos/Chicanos take on racist causes that affect us directly.
